Structures Maintenance Team Member

  • 9 day fortnight (RDO)
  • $69,593 - $71,065 per annum + super

The role: 

This position will be responsible for providing operational delivery of service areas in the Structures Maintenance Team incorporating maintenance of playgrounds, structural assets and signage in the City of Salisbury.

Specialist Skills, Required Knowledge and Conditions:

  • Join the Structures Team in providing effective and efficient maintenance, installation and repairs to our signage, playgrounds, reserve furniture and urban elements.
  • Ideally you will have a metal or carpentry related trade or maintenance experience in a related field such as painting.
  • Hold an MR License
  • Be competent in the use of the required tools associated with the maintenance tasks.
  • Be proficient in the use of technology for undertaking and creating jobs.
  • Strong team player who can contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

A fully functional medical, inclusive of drug testing, will be a requirement of the recruitment and selection process.

Who you are:

The ideal candidate will have either experience in carpentry, fabrication, welding or general maintenance work. In addition, the candidate will be well organised, demonstrate high levels of motivation and enthusiasm, a strong commitment to safe work practices, a good communicator, be a team player and have good problem-solving abilities.
