What You'll Do: As a Community Programs Officer in our youth team you’ll help design and deliver awesome programs focused on supporting young people to thrive! Whether it's running events, creating workshops, or supporting youth-led projects, you’ll be at the heart of empowering young people. Your role will include: - Collaborating with young people to develop activities that reflect their interests and needs
- Leading and facilitating programs that include music and the arts, health and wellbeing and helping young people build essential employment skills and qualifications
- Creating safe and inclusive spaces where all young people feel welcome
- Supporting youth leadership initiatives and helping young people bring their ideas to life
- Building connections with local schools, community groups, and other organisations to promote youth engagement
- Helping to create engaging social media content that really resonates with young people
About You: - You’re passionate about working with young people and understand the challenges they face
- You can connect with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences both face to face and through social media
- You’re creative, love problem-solving, and are comfortable leading projects
- You’ve got awesome communication skills and can work well in a team
- You’re organised, flexible, and able to handle multiple tasks
- Bonus points if you have experience in youth work, community engagement, or running programs (but if not, don’t worry—we’d still love to hear from you!)
