The role:

We are looking for an individual to join the Council's Biodiversity and Native Landscape Team, where your experience in all aspects of conservation management will ensure the efficient maintenance of Council's Open Space operations which contributes to environmental sustainability for the community.

Specialist Skills, Required Knowledge and Conditions:

  • Certificate III or equivalent in Horticulture/Conservation Land Management
  • A current C class unrestricted licence is essential
  • Native plant identification
  • Previous Biodiversity experience
  • Weed management
  • Chemical licence an advantage.
