An opportunity exists to join the City of Salisbury’s Development Services Division in the key role of Senior Development Officer Planning.
As an experienced planning professional with a capacity to mentor others, you will use your skills and enthusiasm to work alongside the community, industry and other stakeholders to facilitate positive development outcomes within Salisbury.
Critical to your success in this role will be your excellent written and verbal communication skills, well-honed negotiation skills and your ability to apply these skills in a pragmatic and relevant way.
Specialist Skills, Required Knowledge and Conditions:
- A degree or post graduate qualification in Planning.
- Extensive Knowledge of the relevant planning and development legislation and associated codes and standards.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate outcomes on complex development issues.
- A capacity to mentor others.
