The City of Salisbury is recognised as a progressive and innovative Council, particularly renowned for its visionary work, leading the way in environmental initiatives.
Located within Council’s Field Services Division, this position contributes to the high levels of service provided to Salisbury residents through the maintenance of Council’s reserves, sportsgrounds and landscape environments.
The position is responsible for maintaining Council property consisting of varying size and types of reserves throughout the City of Salisbury.
To be successful in this position you will need extensive experience operating a front deck ride on mower, be competent in park and landscape maintenance, including brush cutting and pruning. Good written and verbal communication skills are required, along with a willingness to become part of an effective team.
Ideally you will also be competent in the use of chainsaws, brush cutters, chemical application and have trade qualifications in Horticulture.
A fully functional medical, inclusive of drug testing, will be a requirement of the recruitment and selection process.
